Yeong Yeh LEE, MD, Ph.D., FACP, FRCP, FACG, FAMM, AGAF, FASc is a Professor of Medicine and Consultant of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Internal Medicine of Universiti Sains Malaysia. After his gastroenterology fellowship, he completed his Ph.D. in Glasgow, United Kingdom, and later a postdoctoral fellowship in the United States. He is currently the Editor of BMC Gastroenterology, PeerJ, Journal of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and the Malaysian Journal of Medical Sciences. He has published more than 400 papers in high-impact journals including Gastroenterology and Gut, several book chapters, and numerous conference proceedings. JCI Malaysia awarded him the Outstanding Young Malaysian Award in 2015 and the Top Research Scientist of Malaysia by the Academy of Sciences Malaysia in 2018. Currently, he is Immediate Past President of the Malaysian Society of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Committee member of the World Gastroenterology Organization (WGO), OESO, and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), and the Scientific Chair of Asia Pacific Digestive Week (APDW) 2020.

Linda Zhong, MD., Ph.D is currently Associate Professor and Director of Chinese Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She has designed and conducted more than 50 clinical studies with broad scope of diseases and interventions and successfully applied different levels of grants from government. Totally, she has obtained 19 clinical research projects as Principal Investigator and edited 10 books of Chinese Medicine and Integrated Medicine. Her research focuses mainly on integrative medicine and globalization of Chinese Medicine. She is also a Visiting Professor of Integrative Medicine Centre, the University of Toronto, and Visiting Fellow of Australian Research Centre for Complementary and Integrative Medicine, the University of Technology Sydney. She serves as the Vice President of Hong Kong Association for Integration of Chinese-Western Medicine. In 2020, she was awarded a Qi Huang Young Scholar by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine in recognition of her excellence in clinical practice and studies of Chinese medicine.

Professor Somchai Leelakusolvong is a distinguished expert in gastrointestinal and liver diseases, with a focus on gastrointestinal motility disorders and endoscopy. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, in 1986. He completed his residency in the Department of Medicine at the same institution in 1995, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology. Furthering his expertise, Professor Leelakusolvong undertook research fellowships at the Mayo Medical School in the USA and the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Australia in 1999. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Siriraj Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Center and holds the position of Vice Director at Siriraj Hospital. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Gastroenterology division at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.

She also serves as a consultant in Surgical Oncology at the National Cancer Centre Singapore and is the Director of Pelvic Floor Disorders at SGH. Dr. Fu earned her medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 2004 and completed her specialist training in colorectal surgery under the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2012. She furthered her expertise with a colorectal fellowship in Brisbane, Australia, focusing on pelvic floor disorders and advanced laparoscopic colorectal surgery. Her clinical interests include managing colorectal cancer, benign colorectal diseases, and proctology, with a particular focus on advanced laparoscopic techniques such as Transanal Total Mesorectal Excision (taTME) for rectal cancer. Dr. Fu is actively involved in medical education and public health awareness, regularly speaking at conferences and organizing public forums on colorectal health.
